Obsessions are a pretty good clue into where you either have work to do your self or can be serving the world. I’m obsessed with the idea that human beings can “overcome” their animal make up – their DNA’s gene pool and their quirks and brain patterns and weird habits. That they can have experiences that nurture them to be a certain way, but then take back their power and reform their way of viewing and responding to the world. This is our primary power as humans, and if we do not live into it, we are not really completing our mission on planet Earth – which I believe to be individuation (Jung’s term for realizing your unique place in the cosmos). I want to reach my highest potential in this life I’m living and I have not always felt that I was. For years, I felt like I was ignoring my intuition simply because I was not sure what else I was supposed to be doing.
I have read hundreds of books and studied everything from personal power to sexuality, from writing to lean UX from somatic intelligence to how to build an integrated and differentiated business model that is customer obsessed. I have a thirst for all things better. I want our world to be brighter and I see into the future as if it is real. (A curse on many occasions, but also a blessing)
I have rebuilt my life after divorce and I have reshaped my world view. I am always a work in progress. What I do know to be true about myself and every human being is that we are capable of “RE” starting. There are so many useful “RE” words that give us a fresh perspective, new beginning and the ability to correct course or have more self compassion. We do not have to say we are a certain way and that’s the end of it. We can become anyone and anything we want to be – for just a moment – or for a lifetime. RE gives us the ability to shift.
While we cannot re-do our lives, we can repattern our mindbody connection and show up as the very best version of ourselves by committing to a re-designed life.
